I’m all about affordable makeup products that last a long time and actually work. And that’s why this NYX Wonder Stick is my absolute favorite drugstore beauty product.
This stick is very similar to KKW Beauty’s contour sticks, but it’s way more affordable and lasts much longer. I used the KKW Beauty contour stick for months and loved them, but I needed to use a lot of product to get the contour look I wanted. And it ended up running out in just a month or two.

The NYX Wonder Stick comes in four shades: light, medium, deep and universal. I like a pretty defined contour line so I use the deep stick.
It gives you two creamy sticks. The lighter side works as a highlighter and the darker side works to contour. I usually end up using more of the dark side than the light side. Watch the video below to see how I apply it.
I use the dark side of the stick along the bottom of my cheek bones, the sides of my nose and blend it into my hairline to contour my forehead. I use a thick brush to blend it. It blends very easily!
Remember on your cheeks to blend the product up – not down. That’ll give your cheeks a lifted look.
I use the light side under my eyes (where you’d put concealer) and put a thin line down the center of my nose. To make the contour even bolder, you can do a line of the lighter side directly under the cheek contour.
